Get the Most from Personalized Instruction

i-Ready Personalized Instruction is a powerful tool that supports your teaching and provides targeted instruction to every student’s strengths and areas of growth. It also provides you with real-time data and insights into student learning. Based on Diagnostic performance, students are automatically placed into their personalized lesson paths. While you do not need to do anything to make sure your students are assigned the appropriate lessons, you play a critical role in their online learning.

In a hurry? Here are three key resources to help get you started:

Schedule Time

Research indicates students achieve greater progress with Personalized Instruction when they use it 30–49 minutes per subject per week while maintaining a high Percent of Lessons Passed. However, one of the most common challenges for achieving target i-Ready instructional usage levels is answering the question, “Where do I find the time?” Agreeing on a clear goal for students’ usage of Personalized Instruction in advance and establishing a plan for when and how students will regularly access it will help students achieve their goals.
